The Gospel of the Kingdom

What did Jesus preach?
Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are very clear on the matter.
Matthew 9: 35 And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the Gospel of Grace......no, he preached the gospel of the kingdom and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

That is what Jesus preached. The gospel of the Kingdom.  He came to bring in that Kingdom, but it was rejected.
Matthew 10: 5-6 Jesus sent forth His disciples, but He sent them NOT unto the way of the Gentiles or
unto the Samaritans. "But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel" Wow,  too the Jew only.

Matthew, Luke, Mark, and John and even up to mid acts was all the "preaching of the kingdom" and a message to the Jew only. Not to the gentiles.
When Saul was introduced at the death of Stephen,  little did anyone know Paul would preach a gospel of Grace. A gospel that was hidden from the foundation of the world. A gospel open to the Jew and gentile. It was open to all who would believe 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.

So the 4 gospels preach the kingdom, Paul preached the gospel of the grace of God. Jew and Gentile would enter in none exempted.
Romans to Philemon. The grace of God to Jew and Gentile. A body of Believers not kingdom, but a people called "in Heavenly places in Christ Jesus.  Yea you better get Paul.

But then when you go back to James, 1 and 2 Peter, John, Jude, and Revelations, you are back to Kingdom "on earth as it is in Heaven"

All of this is so simple a 3rd grader can understand it, but the majority of those who name Christ have no clue.

An age of deception and preachers keep deceiving and being deceived.
Better wake up.

They will need to find another reasoning.

Many will say that happenings in the Temple destruction was the fulfilling of many unfulfilled scriptures concerning the end times. It is said by those that these things were "fulfilled" with the destruction of the temple in 70 A.D. It is declared by them as truth.

It is very easy to distinguish if that is true or not. It does not even take a rocket scientist to declare it.
Just look in Revelations chapter 13.
That Holy inspired scripture demands a talking image set up in the temple. It requires the "Mark of the Beast", and it also requires a healed head wound.
Did any of that happen yet?

Jesus declared the Great Tribulation would not occur until we see the admonition of desolation, standing in the Holy Place. It is to stand 1,290 days.
Did that occur in A.D. 70?

I suggest nothing close to this happened in the temple destruction.

All of the dead in 70 A.D. do not even come close to the deaths of the millions of babies aborted each year.

Pay attention dear Saints of God. We live in a day of deception. Pay attention. Teachers will deceive and the "Church" has so little teaching, it is easily deceived by these.

When was the temple destroyed?

It is just an interesting note that God did not allow the destruction of the temple of 70 a.d. until Pauls ministry was done. Of course most would just call that an accidental timing, but with God there is reason and purpose. Paul's ministry was ordained and used of God..

Sadducees and Pharisees Reject the Counsel of God

Luke 7:29-30
 29. And all the people that heard him, and the publicans, justified God, being baptized with the baptism of John.
 30. But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized of him

The religious leaders of that day walked in darkness. The Pharisees, the Sadducees, the priests, and the scribes.  In their refusal and blindness, (2 Corinthians 4:3-4)  there were those around them that did receive the message given to the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel. “And all the people that heard him, and the Publicans, justified God, being baptized with he baptism of John.
But! This is the Word of God......” the Pharisees and Lawyers, rejected the counsel of God, against themselves”.
Is it the same today? How man reject the counsel of God?

Israel is blinded. Set aside for a while

Luke 13:
He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.
Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?
And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:
And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.

This parable confronts the blindness of Israel.  Jesus has been ministering to the “lost sheep of the House of Israel”, the vine if you will, for 3 years. He offered them the kingdom, and they refused. 3 years of His ministry, they walked in unbelief.
Now they are severed, better said set aside for their refusal to believe upon Him as the Messiah.

He came seeking fruit on this fig tree, but found none.

The lost sheep were rightly named. They are still blinded today. But will one day, believe upon Him as they are loosed from their blindness and see the one they should have seen all along.

Love not the world.
1 John 2:15-19

I was raised in a religion that preached that using those scriptures almost every service. Preachers screamed, “Do not look like the world, act like the world, and smell like the world”
But what is the world?
While this teaching is no longer taught, it needs much attention in a rightly divided manner.

1 John 2:15-19
15  Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16  For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
17  And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
18  Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
19  They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

The apostle John writes, “Do not  love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”

The principle of the world began in the garden of Eden, when Eve, disregarding the word of God, saw that the forbidden fruit was:
     good for food,
that it was pleasant to the eyes,
and a tree to be desired to make one wise.

This was  the Biblical definition of the world displayed for all to see.
Plain and simple. That angers most in the religious circles. It reveals their worldly desires and appetites.

Verse 16 declares as with Eden, what is in the world we are not to love. Plainly spoken.
     1. Lust of the flesh
     2. Lust of the eyes
     3. Pride of life.

So a clear definition comes from this as these are the elements of the world.
That scriptural truth will help us to be able to distinguish between what is of the world and what is of God.

In these scriptures, the interpretation of John is that,
When what is visible influences and controls our feelings, our time, our efforts, or our actions, it is the world.
IT IS THE WORLD.
This is what the scriptures declare as the world and to flee from it.

It is these things that creates a desire to miss out of our assembly with believers, miss our prayer time, miss out of witnessing time, miss out of bible study time.

If at the end of the day, if you will look at your time and effort spent, or your time redeemed as Paul put it for the masses, God will always be last. The least amount of effort and time will be allowed to God.
Most will spend least time with Him than any other activity of the day. Masses will put every activity in their life, ahead of God activities.
And sadly we teach our children the same. God help us.

So what does all this do? It shows us and all others around us, to whom we really belong.
Plainly spoken that none of these worldly affections exists from or with the Father.
And also plainly spoken and rightly divided John in these passages,  all the things that do influence us or control us is of the Devil. Fleshly, lustful, fulfilling of those desires rather than God.
The love of this world,  separates the true fellowship of believers from the “tares” of the field.

1 John 2:19 identifies some people who claimed to be Christians but eventually left the fellowship: "They were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us; but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

We are told not to love the world,  Satan is the god of this world, and he has his own value system contrary to God's system, and has his own followers.

(2 Corinthians 4:3-4)
3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Masses are so blinded, that they  can not even read and understand what the world is.  Blinded as Israel was and still is. So blinded by Satan, it is impossible for them to see what they are doing in loving this world, is separating them from the true Love which is God.

Jesus speaking to the lost sheep of the house of Israel, declares We are to “seek first” God’s kingdom and righteousness (Matthew 6:33).
Further declaring, No one can serve two masters (Matthew 6:24), and we cannot be devoted to both God and the world at the same time.
The world is what we leave when we come to Christ.  Isaiah 55:7

So we find in  this letter, John tells us it is not possible to “claim fellowship with God” and pattern our lives after the world.
He repeats this theme throughout his letter.
He tells us we must “walk in the light” (1 Jn 1:7), and that we cannot simultaneously walk in the light and walk in darkness.

Now if  we love either of these two, we are warned, “the love of the Father is not in him.

The world obviously has a different view of how we should live and this has filtered into the fellowship of believers. The  culture of today, and sadly to include masses of the people that profess that they know God in which we live believes that all ideas are equally valid, and that we are all free to believe and practice whatever we desire, in the name of diversity and tolerance and also Inclusiveness.

To continue to love the world the way unbelievers do will cripple our spiritual growth and render us fruitless for God's kingdom (Matthew 3:8; Luke 6:43-45; John 15:1-8).

In John 12:25, Jesus took this thought a step further when He said, "Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life." Not loving the world extends to our own lives as well. Jesus said if we love anything more than Him, we are not worthy of Him Matthew 10:37-38).

To love and enjoy the society of the world is to have a heart “destitute of grace” – be aware of it; the world is a bitter foe to grace; it is an enemy to God, and if you befriend it, you make yourself an enemy of God (Jam 4:4).

Matthew 7:22-23
There are going to be many people at the great white throne judgment (Rev. 19:11-15) who will say, "Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out demons? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will [Jesus] profess unto them, I never knew you; depart from me."

Now look at what Paul says about the love of the world.  Seperation from the world.
The love of this world which comes from the god of this world (Satan) is set against God and His ways. Take time to look this scriptures up and draw close to God.

Titus 2:11-14   1:16.
Philippians 1:21
Romans 12:2
Romans 8:14-16
Col. 3:1-4

This will also separate you from the true body called into His fellowship.
2 Corinthians 6:14-18 Study carefully.

In order to set him free from the things of the world, all of this Bible Study, you must either remove the things that influence you altogether, or you must remove the state in which you are in.
“Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?” (1 John 5:5).

It is not merely the faith which effects the deliverance, but the Person, Jesus Christ.

Thanks to all that sustain from eating meats

Turn to 1 Timothy 4 and see what the scriptures declare for our latter days with our diets. I have a study up on our blog where you can read the whole story.
I love it when I hear someone declaring that they are vegans, or vegetarians, or diet restricted. Now none of these in themselves are wrong. That is not the intent of this study.
The scriptures just declare in the verses below of how close to the end of this age, as we know it, will be the declaration, "do not eat meat".

1 Timothy 4  KJV

1. Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2.  Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
3.  Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
Denominational teachings of some even center on Vegetarians. I praise the Lord each time I hear the phrase, as I know how soon to the return of Jesus Christ we are.
Please do not refrain from healthy eating. Nothing wrong with vegetarians. It is just one of the signs of the soon return of our Lord.

New Covenant given to the same people as the Old Covenant

God promised a new covenant to His people.  Turn in the scriptures to Jeremiah 31:31

A New Covenant
31.Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

32. Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:

33. But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

34. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

35. Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:

36. If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.

It is my understanding of these scriptures that In the parallel passages, the parties involved are always the Lord and the nation of Israel.

Look to Hebrews 8:8-13
8. For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
9Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
10. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
11. And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
12. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
13. In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.
Again plainly said. Little explanation is needed. The covenant was written to the Jewish people.
Look now to Romans 15:8 KJV
Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision. (Jewish) for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers: Plainly stated in the scriptures.
Some blessings relate to the Gentile nations, but even these are “spill-over” blessings from Israel.
I call it the ..”crumbs that fall from the masters table”.

We gentiles are not part of that covenant, as it is written in Ephesians 2:12.
The same people that got the Old Covenant will get the New Covenant

All equally sin

Jew and Gentile-Equally Guilty
All have sinned

Romans 2
12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;
13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)
16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel

Paul begins to teach those  who sin "apart from the law" and those who sin "under the law. We make difference in them.

In context Paul is comparing two sets of two things.
He contrasts the evil with the good and he contrasts the Jews with the Gentiles

We must understand, whether we are under the law, or those apart from the law, their sin is still sin and still is today as all through history.

Go back to the garden of Eden, to man’s sin, all the way to Moses, there was no law instituted upon a people as a whole. (Romans 5 Verse 13)

Romans 5 makes an interesting truth.
12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

These writings cover the entirety of man.  Roman 5:12 said it, “all have sinned”.
There is no other category for man to fall under.
Sinners without the law of Moses to follow—the Gentiles—will die and be judged by God without the law, because their sin is still sin.

Sinners under the law—Jewish people who adhere to the rituals and sacraments of the law of Moses—will be judged by God according the law of Moses when they die.

Each person is held to the standards of their own knowledge (The given knowledge of God, that will guide every person regardless of any outside spiritual influences and that is even a possible lack of any spiritual knowledge whatsoever), and as Paul points out, God has given every person enough knowledge to be without excuse (Romans 1:18–20).  A knowledge that the individual will be held accountable before God with no lack of knowing God for believing upon Him.

Paul shows that God will impartially judge everyone for sinning against the light that they were given.

His line of reasoning goes like this:
The Gentile sinned without the Law, so he will perish without the Law and  the Jew sinned under the Law and so he will be judged by the Law (2:12).
As God states in verse 6, God “will render to each person according to his deeds.” Hearing the Law isn’t good enough so you must be a doer of the Law (2:13).
Although the Gentiles did not have God’s Law, they all have an inner sense of right and wrong (2:14).
So they all have sinned against what they know to be right at times, even though their consciences and thoughts convict them of their guilt (2:15).

A good illustration is found in John 8:1-11.
The Jewish leaders have been disturbed by the way Jesus taught and acted in ways that seemed contrary to their understanding and teaching of the law.
Jesus is confronted with a situation in which the verdict would seem to be self-evident. The woman was caught in the act of committing adultery, and the law clearly says that the punishment for adultery is death (Leviticus 20:10).
So the Jewish leaders want to see whether Jesus will uphold and respond to  the law in this case.

The woman was caught in the act, which means that the man also must have been present, and the law is quite clear that in a case of adultery both people are to be put to death--the man as well as the woman (Leviticus 20:10).
The accusers are guilty of ignoring the clear statutes in the law that they seek to trick Jesus with.
When Jesus asks the person who is without sin to cast the first stone, no one responds.
They have violated the law by condemning the woman's sin while letting the other guilty party go free.
As further told, they all left in verse 9, as their own conscience convicted them.

Remember this, conscience is in men’s hearts, even to those who have never heard. God considers this conscience valid enough to put it in man to be a spiritual guide in the absence of anything else that points to right and wrong.
I will also declare that yes, the conscience needs to be cultivated with the word of God, refined with the Holy Spirit, but even without those influences, the conscience given in men by God, will be enough to guide the religious, the pagan, the tribesman in the most secluded lands of the world....no excuse.

The day is coming when God will judge not only outward deeds, but also the secrets of men through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the gospel (2:16).

We see how Paul teaches this matter, how does Jesus treat the subject.
Matthew 11:20-24
20 Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not:
21 Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.
22 But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you.
23 And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.
24 But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee.

Jesus knew that these would repent, if they had seen the miracles He had already done.
He already had angels there in the city to do the miracles for them to see.
Their rejection of righteousness did not allow the demonstration. Man can get too far from God.

Sodom refused to repent and was judged on the basis of the light that they had been shown.  How many were destroyed in that judgement and That judgement will be their just sentence.

But the word declares that their judgment will be lighter than that of the people of Chorazin, Bethsaida, and Capernaum, who witnessed Jesus’ miracles, but still rejected Him.

How much light has our generation seen?
What Judgement will our generation seen?
The greatest question to you, How much light have you seen and heard?

To this point Paul’s argument and mine is thus far God is not partial to the Jews by giving them the Law, because He will judge everyone based on the light and knowledge that they were given (2:12);  and, hearing the Law which does not justify anyone; we must be doers of the Law (2:13). Just a note here, do not consider this a works Salvation. There is a “service required of man to God relationships.
Salvation is faith plus nothing.

And those who have not the law of God, still have that light that declares to them right or wrong and that light will condemn them as they violate that light. Read these two verses.

Romans 2:14-15
Verse 14. For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: then in verse 15.
Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

Verse 12 that states “all who sin without law will also perish without the law” and is brought back again to verse 14 and 15, shows the work written in their heart, their conscience bearing witness, gives the inner sense of right and wrong.
How often do they and we ignore or flat disobey?
This will bring a guilty verdict one day soon at our judgement.
Paul is bringing out that even Pagans who have never heard sermons or been in any spiritual arenas, who declare no sense of right or wrong, will not be excused from that judgement, as in

Romans 1:
17.
For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
18.
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
19
Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
20
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

From the chiefest of sinners, men wrapped in sin, even the religious but unsaved church person, has been shown the light of God.

My point and I believe Paul’s point is that every culture and creed has standards of right and wrong that often coincide with God’s Law.
Why?
God created man to follow Him anyhow, so a law is inherit to them.
And every person has a conscience that condemns him when he violates what he knows to be wrong.
Whether a person had God’s Law or not, he will stand guilty before God on that day because that person knows and has seen light. They choose to reject the witness and the light.

There will be a certain day of judgment. God has fixed the day .
(Acts 17:31).
31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

A side note to this and one we will study soon,
The law "written in their hearts" should not be confused with the law written on the hearts of believers promised by the New Covenant.
(The New covenant is promised to the Jews)
Jer 31:31
It is my understanding of the scriptures that In the parallel passages, the parties involved are always the Lord and the nation of Israel.
Some blessings relate to the Gentile nations, but even these are “spill-over” blessings from Israel.
I call it the ..”crumbs that fall from the masters table”.
See also Hebrews 8:8-13 and Romans 15:8.
We gentiles are not part of that covenant, as it is written in Ephesians 2:12.
The same people that got the Old Covenant will get the New Covenant

To conclude all of this, it makes no difference if you are Jew or Gentile, one who claims to have never heard the gospel, or the most vile sinner that ever lived or the highest member of a church:
Romans 2:11 says, “For there is no respect of persons with God.”
When it comes to judging sin, God does not treat any one nation or ethnic group or religious nor sinner any  different. No one whether individual or nation escapes because He judges them all in the end.
I heard a minister say that at the “foot of the cross, the ground is level”

Jesus died for all. Believe on Him today as in 1 Corinthians 15: verses 1-4.

No one will have the excuse that they did not know or had never heard.

Predestined? Elect? Chosen?

The scriptures all are written as the Holy Spirit moved upon men to write under that knowledge and anointing to guide us to one thing. Salvation, believing on Jesus as pointed to in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4

There is so much confusion in beliefs today, that it is almost impossible to have a discussion today concerning the truths of the Scriptures.

Let us look to these scriptures.....no influences except the Holy Scriptures.

Look to the KJV of John Chapter one. Start in verse 7

John 1:7-10 (KJV)

7  The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
9   That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
10  He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
John speaking here lets us know that ALL  men, not a select few, all men in verse 7.  As you look to verst 9 the Holy Spirit through John wrote EVERY MAN.
Light shined to all and every man. No excuses for any man.  No one will stand before God and offer excuses of rejection of salvation. No one.
Further clarification, by looking to the book of Titus chapter 2 and verse 11.
Looking again to the KJV.Titus 2:11-12
11  For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
12  Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
To me, that is plainly said. Nothing added nor taken away. Again removes all excuse for not believing on Jesus Christ. HATH APPEARED.  Past tense. The truth inspired by the Holy Spirit has shown to ALL MEN.
Satan has blinded men with religious sayings and doctrines based on truths not rightly divided as we are told to do in 2nd Timothy 2:15.
Plain and easy to read and understand.
Romans 1; 18-20
18  For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
19  Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
20  For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:  (see the Creator, instead of the creation)
God is Sovereign . This fact really bothers man. He makes all the rules and all the decisions.  This has to be taken by faith. It is hard for us to even believe this or at least for me, due to past failures of teachings I have sat under. But God is gracious to show us what the scriptures say, and also very important what the scriptures do not say.
God showed it to them.  Even showing "invisible" things. "They are without excuse."
In closing, John 1 and verse 10.  "the true Light" was not known by this world. But it is not because they do not know or can not know.
Even in the most secluded places in this world, someway or somehow these scriptures bear out and are revealed of a redeemer, clearly understood.... All will know, all are without excuse. No amount of sin can take that away. He reveals to all men who He is.  Only when we do not receive the "Knowing" of who He is, and that He came to redeem us from the Old Nature and set all things right.
Kinda does away with the error that if I am to be saved, then it was preordained and I do not have to worry about it...or if I am determined to go to Hell, by God, then I will go to Hell and there is nothing I can do about it. Whosover will just keeps on!
Rejoice! for the children of God, Mercy to all others who will not see the revelation of Him.

What Advantage for the Jewish People

Look to Romans 3 and read verses One and Two.
The question is ask, "what advantage or what profit is there to the Jew or to the circumcision?
Notice the response.
Much every way.  Look at the emphasis here. Much, there is much advantage to being a Jew under the covenants of God. Look to Deuteronomy 7:6 and read the statement of "The Lord thy God"
"God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto Himself above all the people that are upon the face of the earth."  God separated them out of all the people on the earth through one man, Abram and made covenant promises with them.
What a setting aside God himself has made about the Jewish people.
So what is their advantage. Much, every way.
But it does not stop there.
Why? Chiefly is the word used to denote here is why. "Unto them were committed the oracles of God.
Oracles. Defined as the way God reveals his hidden knowledge or makes known His Devine purposes.
What wonderful promises as he loves all of us as much as He loves the Jewish people. Chiefly!

Command to be separate

When you teach the words of God as the Word is written, you run into teachings based on beliefs that are based on their beliefs instead of the scriptures.

Many reject the teachings of God calling out a people for himself as in Deut. 7.  This is a beginning of the Jewish people being called out for a determined time for a determined purpose.  In the King James Bible, in the book of Deuteronomy, chapter 7 and starting in verse 6.

Deut. 7 King James Version of the Holy Bible
For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God: the Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.
The Lord did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:
But because the Lord loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the Lord brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
9 Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

This bothers most teachings, but I do not allow religious ideas to cloud the Bible for me. I will take what the Bible over man's ideas.
God separates peoples as He will.
In other studies we will look at the fact God calls out Abram, and promises to Him a nation, a king, a physical land, and God promises of a blessing and Kingdom on this earth.
Notice when you read of the Jewish people, all their promises are earthly, while we in the fellowship of His Son, are the promises Heavenly.
God knows what He is doing.
