Thy Kingdom come

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Most have no clue of what they repeat when citing the “Lord’s Prayer. It is not a prayer, it is a pattern by which we are supposed to  pray. The Americanized gospel has no clue.

In this pattern Jesus gave us to use to properly pray, the term or concept of ‘Thy Kingdom come” is designated as an object of prayers.

What we are actually to pray according to the Lord’s teachings to His learned ones, is we are to pray some substantial things to God and be a channel for the prayers to be worked.

We are supposed to pray the “all things”  to bring the Kingdom to this earth, to come to fruition.  Not for God to get in line, but for us the body of believers to mature to see the Kingdom appear. We must allow His will and not ours. That is a whole complete study way more than most are going to search out. This has dual considerations.

Strange to todays doctrines, of which I call the Americanized gospel,  it is unheard of that Jesus is the one on the throne, in God’s kingdom.
When we pray for this Kingdom come, includes, for Satan to be dealt with once and for all, Set Jesus as king upon the earth in the Kingdom come,  and all earth and man will be under his reign and authority, and all will align to His will.

I covered in a recent study that Jesus could not come during His first coming as King, as this would have been done then.  Sin would have been dealt with…and much much more. He came the first time as “Priest”, even after the order of Melchesidek. Not as King.

The baptizing of Jesus was not to wash away His sins, He had none. His baptizing was to wash the Priest for His priestly duties. This is clearly taught in the scriptures.  Now I understand few can understand this or accept it for denominational reasons or traditional teachings, and trust me, I will not try to interfere with one’s denominational nor traditional teachings. Only the Holy Spirit can do that.

Without too much discussion, Rev. 11:15 is the ultimate answer to this prayer

 15. The seventh angel sounded his shofar; and there were loud voices in heaven, saying,

“The kingdom of the world has become the Kingdom of our Lord and his Messiah,

and he will rule forever and ever!”

16.  The twenty-four elders sitting on their thrones in God’s presence fell on their faces and worshipped God,

17. saying,“We thank you, Adonai, God of heaven’s armies, the One who is and was,

that you have taken your power  and have begun to rule.

18.   “The Goyim raged.[s] But now your rage has come, the time for the dead to be judged,

the time for rewarding your servants the prophets and your holy people, those who stand in awe of your name, both small and great. It is also the time for destroying  those who destroy the earth.” Complete Jewish Bible

Let me add the KJV so as to not upset certain religious ones.

Rev 11:15.  The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which  said:“The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah,

and he will reign for ever and ever.”

   16.  And the twenty-four elders, who were seated on their thrones before God, fell on their faces and worshiped God,

   17.  saying:“We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty, the One who is and who was,

because you have taken your great power and have begun to reign.

  18.  The nations were angry,

and your wrath has come.  The time has come for judging the dead,

and for rewarding your servants the prophets-and your people who revere your name,

both great and small—and for destroying those who destroy the earth.”

So clear and simple. Study on!
